Even in "civilized countries" police is the only occupation that will try to fuck you over if you say anything negative about them.

Following this hypothetical I wouldn't say fuck the fire department while they're extinguishing a fire, I would be saying fuck the fire department for them hosing people instead of extinguishing fires.
