8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

I'm aware. I'm just saying that it'd be catastrophic for all of us.
Never stopped him before. A million of us died during Covid because he absolutely does not give a single shit about anybody else.
And nearly a million have died from the gutting of USAID and additional domestically after cuts to food and medical assistance…and the stupidity at HHS.
I heard Ebola is making a comeback!
Guess we can eat raccoon penis as a precautionary measure. It's cheaper than actual treatment, therefore superior.
Because he knows the world fucking hates his guts.
The cuts to medicaid/medicare and the slashing of general policy around a lot of medicines, and treatments not within those policies alone, will result in 10-12 million excess deaths in the net 10 years.
He does care about rich and powerful people. Instrumentally only, but still. The truly powerful he glorifies and pretends to adore to hide the fact that they're stronger than he is and that he can't bully them, so he hides his resentment by pretending he is on their side.
It's so fucking pathetic.
This is all catastrophic for us.
That's kinda on-brand for him, now that you mention it. It's like he's a bitter old pedo who wants the world to burn on his way out.
Catastrophe already actively in progress. Countermeasures also need to be actively in progress. Find a resistance group to join. There are lots of options.
So maybe it is finally the time to organize a general strike? close accounts in all big tech companies, refuse to buy anything in any corporate outlet, etc? maybe?
We are already being shut out of the economy, and the few people who actually have a middle class job and lifestyle are in complete denial about what is going on in this country. The most we can do right now is support the growing calls for unions as a prerequisite for union leaders to organize a real general strike. Individuals are not just going to wake up one day and sacrifice their current comfort for our collective future.
Another government shutdown, here we come!
Fair enough. I took it to mean more "he wouldn't do it because it would be catastrophic". I see now it was meant more to draw attention to the issues it would cause.
