If you're in the market for a DAP, but don't want to pay $400 for what gets you basically a gimped phone, you should check out the ROG Phone 5s (available for $400 on Asus website) (shop.asus.com)

Ngl, I keep an iPod touch 6th gen as my dedicated music player for outdoors. Connect it to my phones hotspot when I want internet. Still a surprisingly usable nugget in 2023
