We can’t keep calling it the In-Season Tournament forever and giving it an actual name helps legitimise it

Call it the NBA Cup or something, saying In-Season Tournament every time is too long

If lebron/lakers win and he gets IST-MVP I expect that award at least to be called the “lebron James IST MVP”. He’s a huge figure and won’t have an award named after him after all the rebranding last year
