AI augmenting human workers and making them faster or assisting in categorising or triaging work: great idea.

AI replacing human workers and doing the work itself with complete agency: terrible idea.

Everyone who has done this will learn it's just a shitty intern running at sim city cheetah speed and you should give it the same trust and ability to fuck you as an intern.

Its becoming a cycle. Exec gets hype minded and tells their employees to fuck off. Gets big payout, and stock go up. Takes about a year for shit to really fall apart, with the realization that maybe AI can't do everything. Sheepishly they start hiring again, but that knowledge is lost. Real recovery will be years.
