We can’t keep calling it the In-Season Tournament forever and giving it an actual name helps legitimise it

Call it the NBA Cup or something, saying In-Season Tournament every time is too long

Nba winter cup, make it Christmas themed, wear Christmas unis only for tournament games, push it back more into December and play the finals as the last game on Christmas Day. Associating anything with a holiday helps
