I find it weird whenever articles say that one or two players had X points despite the loss. Unless someone single handedly dropped a game winning amount of points, all this number tells you is to what degree the distribution of total points scored is skewed toward one or two people. The fact that Luka and Kyrie combined for 74 might be indicative of an imbalanced and dysfunctional offense, or that they're taking way too many shots. There's no reason to think that two people combing for 74 points would make their team more likely to have won the game.
