I'm always interested at the kind of person who feels the need to engage in something online that they completely disagree or think is terrible, and then the need to do it rudely. Are you this way in real life, too? I'm genuinely curious.

Yes, if someone is outright wasting my time with stupid content, I won't bother engaging in a meaningful/constructive discussion with them. I will take my time to let them know how I feel about it though. Every person I detract from ever posting something stupid again is an investment in the future quality of my reddit feed.
