Both young cores seem to be similar, with a lead superstar guard, a 2-way guard/forward, and a floor-spacing rim protector. The Grizzlies’ core have had more playoff success (due to being around longer) and JJJ also already has a DPOY, but they’ve also got more potential concerns (namely Ja’s off-court behavior and some of JJJ’s struggles like rebounding)

He's underrated, probably even by himself. Plays like he's much smaller than he is for a lot of the game and then realizes he's longer and more athletic than 99 percent of the people on the court for a few minutes and turns into a god. Frustrating to watch, honestly his biggest knock, like most of the young grizzlies, is how quickly he starts to visibly pout when the game goes south early. The whole team really needs a mentality check.
