I see a lot of different opinions on the IE200. I personally have found it to be an extremely enjoyable and competent set especially for $150. I think they're better than my P5 and my Kiwi Ears Quintet. The quintet definitely has better separation and imaging, but the IE200 has a way wider stage. The treble is so smooth to my ears too. With all that being said I love this set, but I want to hear other opinions as I feel some of the hate is unwarranted.

I really love my IE200s.

Their sound quality is surprisingly good. They definitely punch way above their price point. To my ears the IE200 sound VERY similar to the IE600--for a fraction of the price.

They don't have the same level of spatiousness or detail retrieval as the IE600--nor would l expect that for around $100-$150. But for that price the IE200s sound outstanding. They easily rival, or surpass, other IEMs under $200.

You will probably need to replace the cable though. It kind of sucks. And most importantly you need to tip-roll until you get a secure seal in the ear. I use SpinFit CP100+. You won't need to bother with the tape mod with those tips either. They have a long enough shaft on them to cover the vent that kills the bass.

The IE200 are one of best affordable IEMs on the market.

It's easy to lose sight of these little gems. With the flood of Chi Fi alternatives coming out every DAY, really good IEMs like the IE200 are geting overlooked.

Their warm and detailed sound signature is amazing. And it's just what you would expect from Sennheiser.
