Let's take last night's OKC v GS game for example. Chet hits a buzzer beater 3 to tie the game and send it into OT. Amazing. People on the court and at home watching their TVs are going wild.

But then 0.001 seconds after the shot: "His foot was on the line though I think" (and clearly it wasn't).
This particular guy does it like every single time. I don't know who he is but he has this dumb habit of trying to put doubt in the viewer's head immediately after something great happens. I've absolutely heard him go "BUT WAS IT A 3!?" in similar situations where it was indisputably a 3. He does it just to be a dick.
Steph could drop a full court shot and this idiot would still be like "bUt WaZ hIs fOoT bEhInD tHe LiNe!?"
Like shut the fuck up and let people enjoy the moment unless you're 100% sure
Idk what you’d expect besides a homer announcer. But a larger issue is there’s only like five good announcing teams in the NBA. Nets, Magic, Hornets, Kings…..anyone else want to nominate their own? The warriors announcers aren’t even the worst just you all have to watch them every game bc the Warriors are always on national TV. Have you ever tried to listen to Phoenix, Wolves, Denver or the Rockets?
Lol just a fundamental misunderstanding of how the games are broadcast. Nationally televised games on ESPN or TNT are not being called by the Warriors announcer team. People don't experience them more because they are on national TV. The game they are talking about was not nationally televised in the way you're stating.
The wolves have a great announcing team and you’ll be in a small minority across neutral fans to claim otherwise.
The Lakers have a great commentary team. Every time I watch the Lakers I have a pretty good watching experience because the announcers are interesting and pretty even for both teams for the most part.
