Why aren’t there more Wemby/Chet archetype players in the league? Will this become a trend in this generation? (alien.top)

Essentially a more well rounded KD type player who can do it all: 3 level scorer, elite defense, with tremendous size that can stretch the floor. Shouldn’t teams be on the lookout for them rather than drafting traditional big men? How have teams only realized this the past two years with Wemby and Chet?

KD said this is where the league is headed and eventually it’ll be just a bump of 6’8 to 7 feet guys in the NBA
