Not trying to call out anyone specifically (2021 draft class) but it feels like after 3 or 4 years you can sorta create a trajectory for a player or draft class

Feels like between the sexual harassment (Primo), DUIs (Bouknight) turning 30 (Duarte) and being mid (Williams), a lot of 2021 draft class lottery has not performed to expectation.

The class has some names for sure, but All-Star/ All-NBA talent?

2020 already has 3 all-stars between LaMelo, Halliburton, and Edwards and if a guard from 2021 (Green or Cade) can get to that level that would be good, but they’re not they’re yet. While 2021 has forwards like Franz, Mobley and Scottie, they don’t feel like they’re like Paolo or Chet potential.

I am not saying 2021 is a bust, but how much longer before we can call it that, or how many players need to be all-star level before it’s considered not a bust.

There’s talent in there for sure but Zion, Ja, Ant, LaMelo, Halli, Maxey came the 2 year before and felt more accomplished by this time in their careers. It also feels like Paolo and Wemby also have higher ceilings and are drafted after the 2021 draft

I feel like I can tell before Year 2.

If you're a 2nd year player and still struggling in summer league I feel like these guys usually end up busting. Just off memory the only time this test has failed me was Jaylen Brown.
