I received this watch from my dear friend as a gift, I stashed this away for years, but he recently passed so I remembered this, I know nothing about watches so I thought to ask here.

Why is it that none of the watches in similar posts on this sub, are ever genuine? xD

We only post when something is not quite right, to get the confirmation, especially when one is not too familiar with how a brand is supposed to look.
