... Ranting...Then she also slowly killed a goat. There was also three horses put down in one week. I don't know how that is acceptable that three horses have to get put down in one week. Horses got old. I don't know if she's took it into her own hands to kill the horses but most people who have old sick animals call a large animal vet to the property and humanely euthanize. They don't need to suffer in agony and get their brains blown out.
If a dog's behavior is intractable to where it is killing the neighbor's livestock then fix it so the dog is not roaming around off leash. A puppy needs to be trained. A dog needs training. A 14-month-old canine is still a puppy. Many dog breeds do not mature until they are 3 years old. She needed a trainer, to research training that breed, or rehome the dog. Goats are known to be ornery and mean, she should know these things before she gets farm animals.

My uncle has a story: dog was getting old and sick, his wife asked him to have it put down. Now Bruce was an old farmer, had put down plenty of animals for food and disease. So he's going to shoot the dog. Wife won't have that, dog is a member of the family.
So a few days later, vet is at the farm to do a C-section on a cow that won't calve. Wife says "well, get him to put down the dog while he's here". Bruce tells her he'll ask the vet. Vet says sure, but he doesn't have anything with him to do it with, asks Bruce for his rifle and shoots the dog.
Wife hears the shot and thinks Bruce did it and lied about asking the vet, so he doesn't hear the end of it for a week.

I really don't think so. The fact that we're still talking about this week's later is an indication of how dead her national political career is. Her brand is the dog killing politician now.
She was a contender to be Trump's VP candidate, and he can't stop talking about what a fool she is with no political acumen.
We tried this in 2016 with Trump and we lost.
Trump has that incredible either-you-see-it-or-you-don't charisma.
For every Trump there are a thousand wannabes like DeSantis who get destroyed by their gaffes and screw ups (like is supposed to happen) instead of being boosted by them. The exception, despite being very prominent, doesn't break the rule that coverage of a politician's gaffes is normally very, very bad for them.
This did make me feel a little better, and I have to say, I think you're right. That said, I hate that this fucker moved the needle a significant amount, desantis should never ever have gotten as far as he has.
