I’ve always been an Arris fan. SB8200 should be good.

Another +1 for Arris. It's been a rock-solid workhorse. I'm a big fan of them.
I love our Arris modem. It's definitely rock solid.
Avoid Intel based solutions https://lookgadgets.com/articles/intel-puma-modems-list/
Almost all 32x8 (capable of 1 gig) docsis 3 modems are going to be puma based.
No reason not to get docsis 3.1 unless you are truly cash strapped. That leaves the SB8200 if you're ok with 1Gbe ports, or the S33 if you want a 2.5 port.
Never had good luck with anything netgear.
I have used Motorola's and have never had one crap out on me. I just replaced my old 3.0 modem with the MB8611 and so far it is working flawlessly.
+1 for Motorola
I run an MB8611 too. Solid little modem
