Amazed it took them this long. Seems like a no-brainer concept in hindesight, especially with all those little animations just sitting around.

Honestly surprised they haven't made a rougelite game yet. Seems like the perfect fit given the prevelance of 2D side scrolling rouglites.

What? Like a Metal Slug Tactics digital deck builder game? Or more of a Hades, but Metal Slug style? Both could definitely work.

More the hades variety, but I was thinking something like 20XX/30XX, cause that plays more like Metal Slug.

I've never tried that one, but now I'm curious enough to give it a shot.

If you liked the SNES Megaman X games you'll like 20XX.

Loooooove me some 20/30xx. Got 20xx for free from Epic and then quickly paid for 30xx on Steam when it came out. Thanks Epic!

Didn't know I needed a Hades style Metal Slug until your comment but now I can't live without it.

Not exactly a rougelite, but there is an rpg game like Metal Slug - Mercenary Kings

Wow that looks fun! Shocked that a game like this is still charging $20 after being out for 10yrs though. Good for them!

Heh, was just talking with someone recently wondering where this had been since the announcement.

It's amazing what a natural fit it seems to be for the genre. Hopefully it's fun!
