Not to worry, it'll be rebuilt in no time and with twice the lens flare!

When will we reach peak lens flare? What happens then?

Just a world of pure white, like every color was set to #ffffff

We'll have to hire Michael Bay to blow the whole thing up

He was the worst thing to ever happen to Star Trek

...and Star Wars.

Ok but the Enterprise was destroyed in 40% of the pre-JJ movies, too. (Yes, I'm counting Star Trek VI because the ship was decommissioned at the end.)

Yes but in Abrams' it gets destroyed every time

Not as bad as Picard Season 1.

Overall, I actually liked J. J. Abrams' Star Treks, especially the third one. Yes, there were parts I didn't like (i.e. the warp core), but in general I enjoyed it

I'm referring to Utopia Planetia.

I mean if you're being pedantic that still traces back to the JJ Abrams, the use of synths at Utopia Planetia was precipitated by the pending doom of the Romulan sun which was a prime timeline event canonized in Trek 09.

Pendantry? In my Star Trek fandom?

Picard had so much going for it and was completely and utterly destroyed because of lazy writers who hate Star Trek. Every season started out really intriguing and I'd get excited, and then a minute later Picard is begging like a 4 year old child, while someone is performing straight-up magic with either a single molecule from Data, or the Borg. I watched every episode because my friend kept telling me how amazing it gets, but I don't take recommendations from that friend anymore. I was so disgusted by the end of the 3rd season that I never actually finished the last episode, despite trying 3 times. Eventually I turned it off and cancelled my Paramount subscription.
