It's basically just, he mispronounces "me" as "may" at the end of the chorus, so the meme is "It's Gonna Be May"

Tbf, I don't think there's any record of even historical Jesus to have shat himself, so that is an "opposite," in a way.

Yeah, surprisingly enough, rubbing alcohol makes a great degreaser, it's also good for like, when you take a sticker or a label off of something, and it leaves a residue behind? That stuff, rubbing alcohol takes it right off.

Personal anecdote, one of my buddies in college had the misfortune of "being the first guy to fall asleep at the party" so of course we drew a bunch of dicks and stuff on his face. The only thing we could find to clean it off the next day was a bottle of 90% isopropyl, and a little bit got into his eye, he got so mad that he punched a hole in his bathroom wall.

Just make sure it knows how to find and harvest fuel on it's own, it can be so pesky when you run out of hot water!

Title, all comments have the lock symbol beside the usernames, and we're unable to reply to them. Making a top-level comment still works. Instance doesn't matter, it's the same for all of them. Pls fix, this is pretty much a broken app until then.

Hello Lemmings! For the past year or so, I've been working on a solo project, and I'm kinda close to being finished with it! It's a punk rock album, made with mostly open-source tools (the only non-FOSS stuff is a couple of plugins that didn't have good open-source alternatives)!

I've seen other folks promote their games here, but so far I haven't seen any music done this way, and I was wondering if it's maybe not allowed? Some sort of Lemmy faux pas? If it is, indeed, allowed, then what communities would be amenable to maybe a twice weekly post? Should one make their own community for this purpose? What about a general purpose community for self-promotion, i.e. "imadethis" back on the old place? As you can see, much to consider. (I don't have anything out yet, so this post in itself is not self-promotion.)

What say ye, o wise Lemmings?

I'll give the whole story if anyone wants it

Absolutely brilliant 👌

I'll be using it mostly for gaming, possibly self-hosting various things as I think about them. I'd like it to be mildly future-proof, but I'd also like to cut the price down a bit. Right now it's going to cost basically my whole tax refund, and if possible, I'd like to save some of it to further my education.

I'll be using Linux (don't know what distro yet, but that's another post for another /c/), hence the all-AMD build.

Thanks in advance!

If anyone could tell me how to change the system font color, I'd be much obliged. tips cowboy hat

For backstory: My partner and I have been playing Super Mario Party so long that it's gotten boring. They asked me what I wanted for my birthday (which is coming up), and I thought something like that would be cool. If X-COM 2 had a local co-op on the Switch, I'd do that, but is there something similar?

I can see saved posts all day, but saved comments, well that's an issue. It was easy on the previous iteration, just wondering why I can't find it now.

On Boost for Reddit, this was the feature I liked the most. Is it just not implemented yet?
