A Japanese video game walkthrough listing sleeping pills as one of their recommended methods to get high scores in Pokémon Sleep has gone viral on Japanese Twitter recently. The mention of sleeping aid has since been deleted from the site.

I can't believe there's now a Pokémon doping scandal.

The thought of a competitive Pokemon Sleep scenario just filled me with the most precious mental image. The Reverse Gamer™ Room, no leds, no table full of monitors, a mega comfy bed, relaxing music or white noise machine, guides on how to have a healthy diet and regular workout sessions.

TIL there is a thing called Pokemon Sleep

I tried Pokemon Sleep and I didn't like it. It's way more complicated than it needs to be. It's very much a typical mobile game, with lots of meters, currencies, timers, login rewards, etc. And it doesn't make any sense. Why do I need to feed a snorlax to make it bigger? What exactly is my sleep doing? Does the snorlax represent the player, even though the player is clearly a separate entity from the snorlax? Why should I care about friendship meters? It's all ridiculous.

I guess the alternative could have been " let this Munna feed on your dreams" but it might have been too creepy for most.

I still cannot believe there is a game for kids that recommends they set up a fire hazard in their beds.

What fire hazard? All bedding made in most parts of the world made in the last 50 years or so are made of very fire-retardant materials. It's actually really hard to set a bed on fire these days.

You can literally just Google "phone in bed fire" and find article after article after article about it.

there's no way they won't implement that later down the road......... right?

That site probably : "Hey kids, did you know that steroids make you better at RingFit Adventures too?"

Meth will help you defend your gym in Pokémon Go.
