Why Z4 m40i is less stable on roads compared to 330i xdrive? (alien.top)

I recently got z4 m40i as loaner when my 3 series is in shop, but I feel z4 is not that stable on city roads when taking quick turns with b58 engine. Could you please explain why I feel 330i drive is more stable than z4? Is it because of rear wheel drive and b58 engine?
