I vaguely remember seeing this game on Steam ages ago and thinking it looked interesting, but then forgot about it. Now, during the Steam rhythm fest, it caught my eye again and I immediately bought it. And it's so, so much fun.

So first of all, if you're into rhythm games and haven't played this, I'd highly recommend it!

My question though, is if anyone else here plays it? What are your favourite songs, or do you mostly play custom songs?

I'm currently trying to get better at playing songs in Hard difficulty but tend to accidentally mix up the beats and taps. Still trying to get used to the controls, but I love it so far!

I'd had this game on my wishlist for quite a while, and I also picked it up during this sale. Among rhythm games that aren't based around specific peripherals, i find this one of the most tight, well-playing ones, and I'd encourage anyone with even a little interest to check out the demo.

I agree! And I love all the accessibility options. There are so many ways to customise it. The songs are good as well!

Thanks! Looks like a fun game. ~~Interesting that you don't really 'hit' the notes, moreso just line them up~~. I feel like it would be the most fun with the actual dj midi controller.

It's nice to see an evolution/continuation of the genre that so many of us grew up with.

You do hit notes, but not all of them. The "dots" just need to be lined up, whereas "bars" require a button press as well.

Oh, awesome! I must have missed that

It's not just spinning and lining up the notes, but it's pressing (different kinds of) buttons as well. I find it pretty difficult compared to some similar games but that means it's all the more rewarding to find myself getting better at it. There are a lot of accessibility options as well so you can customise it the way you want.

Great game made by some devs who used to work at Halfbrick (Fruit Ninja/Jetpack Joyride fame). Highly recommend playing with an actual DJ turntable for the full fantasy. Also had a recently released VR mode.

On top of all that, https://spinsha.re/

Oh really? I wasn't aware they (some of them) were the same devs! That's pretty cool. It seems the community of the game is pretty small but pretty active for its size. I really like that the game is still being updated and everything. It's such a fun game!

Yeah spinsha.re has tons of great songs!

It's really great, isn't it? I tried to get some friends into it but it seems like I'm the only one who enjoys rhythm games. I really like The Magician I think

It's super fun!
