Title is weird with how it could be interpreted to mean mtx was $1 billion.

So for people who might be confused

150 million dollars from in-game microtransactions.

1000M/150M = 666% That title is at least 666% misleading.

This is excellent publicity that convinces me not to even try that game.

They killed it with D2R. I was so scared they wouldn’t, but it’s fantastic.

Is that some d2 remake? I'm so out of the loop :-)

That is! Came out a couple years ago. It is one of the best remakes I’ve ever played! After the WC3 disaster I had no hope, but the smashed it out of the park. I heavily recommend it if you loved Diablo II!

Thank you!

Is it like D2 with the expansion pack?

[–] Rai@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 1 year ago

Yep! Full LoD. Full controller support. Tons of added stuff that fits PERFECTLY with Diablo II. Tons of new runewords and items and events. It’s an absolute banger at like 40USD.

I'm still pissed I bought that piece of shit game

I barely got through the story on my first character. Every other Diablo, I did at least one full run in every class.

Honestly I fell asleep playing the game... Twice.

There's just something that makes me so bored.

I'm right there with you. I won't deny that there's a chance that it's just a side effect of being old, but I nodded off more than a few times.

I can't put my finger on it either, but everything just felt like a chore. I must quit playing it for months and only fired it up to finish the story because I knew I had to be close, and I couldn't leave it like that.

Can't say that I enjoyed the story but I think the game is in pretty good shape right now after a couple of seasons. If you like to just kill stuff at least.
