Back to you Steve
That's cool but I think I'll be avoiding Asus for a good while instead
Why?
Because they pulled all manner of sketchy shit with RMAs and I no longer trust them as a company to do the right thing. Why buy from a company that repeatedly did shady shit to screw over their customers? That's great that they claim they're going to fix the problem but why trust them when they've already lied in the past?
Thank you. I have not had any recent interactions with the company and had not heard about this.
Thr trick will be how long this last before they change it back or break it another way.
All it takes is new management who want to make their mark and change everything to make things "more efficient" or "more productive" or whatever bullshit metric they come up with.
I just sent my AM5 motherboard in to Asus for repair. They comped my shipping which was really nice. FYI, just request it and they’re happy to help.
