Who better to be a foil for a Vulcan trying to button down and gain the respect of Vulcan Exploratory leadership than a bunch of Betazoids who know what T’Lyn’s feeling and have no patience with her attempts to cover up with logic?

Have we ever actually seen an interaction between a full Betazoid and a Vulcan? I expect Vulcans would find them even more irksome than Humans.
Good question.
TNG had very few Vulcan interactions, mainly with Spock and Sarek. So, no Vulcan and Betazoid ones.
In DS9, I don’t believe Vulcan guest characters interacted with Betazoids.
I don’t recall Vorik and Sutter interacting on Voyager in any significant way.
So, we’re left with Tuvik’s attempts to help Sutter control his psychopathy. Really not the kind of ordinary Vulcan vs Betazoid interaction we might get in Lower Decks.
Ah, good recall, forgot all about Tuvok and Suder! Yeah, his abnormal mental state made the interaction between them considerably different than what I was envisioning.

I didn't remember the name, I had to look him up.
I was about to say that since LD doesn't color in characters' irises there's very little to differentiate the animated Betazoids from humans. But it turns out they gave them bigger black eye dots!
Looks like Tendi's happy crying in one of the last pictures, so here's hoping that T'lyn gets some embarrassing wholesome emotions exposed.
Curious about Boimler looking sad at that padd. My gut guess was it had something to do with Will, but he already thinks he’s dead so….?
Based on the party crasher's garb, looks like we'll be getting a more Billups centered story. Haven't seen enough of him this season.
My understanding is that they’re all betazoids of the Lawaxana variety.
