I thought at first that I was looking for Artist Idle, but that game doesn't contain any mention of computer parts. (I specifically remember there being a water clock upgrade, to start automatic pixel production, among others.)

I think it was called something like "CRT Idle" or "Scanline Idle", but neither of those searches have given my any results.

I've checked on itch.io and galaxy.click, with no success. (As well as googling it, duh)

Oooh ooh, I remember this game.

I just can't remember exactly. I did find http://c64clicker.com/ which is an old one (And a good one) There was a great game called Pixel This or Pixel That like that where you drew art, but apparently it's been lost to time (source code might be out there, but doesn't seem hosted)

Hope that helped, and if you find it, let me know because I remember it was a solid game.

Was it https://minmaxia.com/basic/ ? There is a sequel as well, but I cannot find it playable anywhere on mobile now, but it's called basic 2 if you want to look around.

Edit: I misunderstood your post, do it's probably not it.
