Maybe...just fucking maybe...basic human needs like healthcare should not be for-profit.

"Limbs aren’t necessary."

  • Brian Thompson, probably.

I mean, he doesn't need them anymore

Or maybe the CEOs could just donate their limbs - after all, if artificial ones aren't necessary, are true limbs really?

Which insurers? I truly cannot find this in the article

https://www.advocatemagazine.com/article/2022-november/health-insurance-bad-faith-for-prosthetic-denials

Some quick googling shows anthem and UHC (shocker) have been specific culprits with this, being the subject of legal action (Atzin, et al. v. Anthem, Inc., et al., Case No.: 2:17-cv-6816 ODW (PLAx) and Trujillo and Harden v. Unitedhealth Grp. Inc., et al., Case No. SACV 17-2547-JFW (KKx) (C.D. Cal. 2019)) regarding their denial of claims.

Helpful?

Perhaps other things shouldn't be necessary like health insurance or the companies etc that exist just to screw people over. 😉
