Yeah, it’s not a serious documentary. It’s more about the town, football culture, and Rob/Ryan than it is about the players or the club. Lots of stupid little jokes and stuff throughout - not sure if they’re inside jokes or trying to drive engagement just like this post amongst English/Welsh viewers.
Either way, there’s always a weird amount of anti-Americanism in these conversations. You people are insane if you expect us to know the locations of small towns/clubs in your country. Not like you guys know any US geography outside of Florida, NYC, and California anyway.

Think of how many American opinion polls characterize the "British" accent as sexy, when they're probably thinking of Jude Law's accent rather than scouse or glaswegian

It’s not tongue in cheek or anything but in context of watching the show no one will actually be looking at it as a map of the clubs’ locations, it’s just a quick punchy visual.

Great Britain vs UK is extremely fuzzy in the US, I wouldn’t expect anyone to know that. Hell, I probably wouldn’t even get that right. I also wouldn’t expect anyone to know the difference between flags, that’s nerd-level stuff not part of pop culture or general world news stories.
