Oh look, an inter fan.

[–] Tsicsar-Itna@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Considering we’ve smashed you so often with Tonali starting nearly everytime I guess I now see the motive.

Tonali at Milan with the exception of his first season is a better midfielder than anyone you have. Yes, even this seasons Cristante

[–] Tsicsar-Itna@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He’s not a 70m player I agree. But when Maguire goes for the same, it’s a justified price.

Tonali plays like he’s depressed in NUFC.

[–] TheItalianStallion64@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

has he been performing up to the €70m standards?

[–] Tilman_Feraltitty@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Remember, they can only involuntary advertising whole season, but bet and get banned!

[–] Stigno@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Sandrino Tonali, a true Milanista, realized this summer that he was going to get caught for betting on his team and so he decided to force a move to Newcastle in order to get Milan money they would have lost otherwise.

[–] TheItalianStallion64@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

holy shit did we scam newcastle

[–] ThereWillBeGoals@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Not exactly what Newcastle need right now.

[–] lssie_hyoudou@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I ment city of milan ffs

[–] ElectricalMud2850@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The transfer fee looked light until they realized how much they'd be saving on legal bills.

[–] HelloMyNameIsGeoff@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

400 IQ move by Milan to sell him

[–] Shinkopeshon@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

If this is true, I owe them Muricans an even bigger apology than I already do lmao

[–] OmarLittle87@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I will never doubt Furlani again

[–] Stemnut@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Zaniolo's idiocy is unbelievable

[–] Handyman2116@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Nice to hear that he's as brainless off the pitch as he is on it

[–] Competitive-Aide5364@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He is honestly unbelievable. I remember that one match a few years ago where he grabbed his crotch taunting a fan and was like “yup this kids an idiot” lol

[–] AngryVirginian@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Did it to get a signing bonus.

[–] Shinkopeshon@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If this is true, I owe them Muricans an even bigger apology than I already do lmao

[–] CompetitiveSeat5340@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Unbelievable, what kind of footballer could do something like this

[–] maxfreichert@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

yeah i agree its impossible. but i think legal sports gambling normalizes it to an extent

[–] Best-Success-6425@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Hey! Finally it's not a United player doing something illegal or stupid!

[–] EliToon@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Tonali is a United player.

Oh look a Man Utd fan making everything about Man Utd!

[–] Prior_Accountant_666@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No one thinks of your small club when they say united

[–] ElUallarito@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Fabrizio Corona 🤝 Jamal Kashoggi against Bin Salman

[–] TheItalianStallion64@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

tell me you don’t know anything about milan without telling me you don’t know anything about milan

he was our joint best midfielder with bennacer.

[–] icemankiller8@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Has he even been good? Seen him a bit this season and he only looked good on his debut and against Sheffield United when everyone was good because you smashed them

[–] im_on_the_case@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

STATEMENT FROM THE FOOTBALLING AUTHORITIES:
"We are taking these allegations very seriously and conducting all the relevant investigations. Any player found guilty of gambling will be punished to the full extent of the rules and regulations put in place to protect the integrity of the game, now a word from our sponsors: footballbetshop.com, SkyBet and PaddyPower"

[–] Hokage123456789@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

What is happening in Italy rn???

[–] LackAdministrative88@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

As opposed to the Prem, in which Toney was already suspended and Paqueta is under investigation? This happens in every league, it’s a matter of when not if.

[–] CrowCreative6772@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It's becoming the tax evasion of Spain or rapist of the PL

[–] EliToon@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I didn't miss the point of your comment. The article and thread has 0 to do with Manchester United. Not a single Man United player has had any issues with betting. There's is literally no link to Man United here yet you come in here talking about them.

[–] intestinal_fortitude@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

When Zaniolo was trying to force his move away from Roma, I didn’t harbor the same hatred toward him that others did at the time. What he was doing was shitty, but I at least understood that he is young and wants to get to a better team in a slightly better league (clearly Turkey was a temp solution). But with this news? My god this is stupid and idiotic. Glad he is far removed from Roma now.

[–] SongAlbatross@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Betting his own team to win may not sound too shady. Betting his team to lose would be a crime. Zaniolo isn't known to be a smart guy, so the worst can't be ruled out.

[–] Chester____A_Arthur@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Genuinely think players should be allowed to bet on their team winning (as long as there is no spread). It could create some amazing performances. I also imagine Romero betting absurd amounts on Tottenham.

[–] kermvv@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago
[–] thenchen@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Fking no lol then we would get far greater attempts to influence the result. Players are one degree of separation from on the pitch refs while all other bettors are realistically two or more away.

[–] maxfreichert@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

this will keep happening until we remove official gambling sponsors and drive them out of sports. the integrity of the game cannot be trusted as long as we allow this. and it’s not just players either

[–] Franky_95@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Italy already removed gambling sponsors

[–] maxfreichert@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

right, but sports gambling is still legal

[–] Best-Success-6425@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Literally no one refers to Newcastle as United.

[–] Bolte_Racku@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

What's wrong with betting on your own team

[–] MoyesNTheHood@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

That’s West Ham, Newcastle and Villa with players being investigated for betting

Just need a Brighton player to complete the set.

My vote is Fati

[–] Upplands-Bro@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

What set is that?

[–] EliToon@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Tonali is a United player.

Oh look a Man Utd fan making everything about Man Utd!

[–] EliToon@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Your comment was to make it about Manchester United. Congrats!

[–] Best-Success-6425@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

In the world.

[–] Awotwe_Knows_Best@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

they're already millionaires, why not leave the sports betting for the rest of us?
