My dad is 79. Literally every time he's watched a game with me the past 37 years he's mentioned "he really needs to attack the basket" without having any idea what it means. Apparently it is just said so damn much he picked it up.

That an increase of 2% on 3pt shooting would make a player useful, good, great,... While the player shoots no more than 1.5 3 pointers per game and the percentage increase would be of one or two makes for the whole season.
