Least biased title - LOL just saw the username too.
Suns bench has been pretty good the entire preseason, hoping it translates to the regular season.
Supporting cast showed a lot of effort.

Our bench brought it back to a one point game after KD checked out at the half against Bron and AD. Definitely a bit of artistic license being taken with the title, but certainly not an encouraging performance by the Lakers.
Obviously it's preseason and only means so much, but there's a reason the Lakers game thread was super butthurt lol.

Rams and dodgers been making the cardinals and dbacks their bitch for years. But the Suns lowkey have been spanking the lakers the last 3 or so years and this year will be no different
None of that shit matters if you donβt win it all. Rams, Dodgers, and Lakers all got one. Dbacks have a shot, Suns might too weβll see.

Suns almost have too much depth lol, these guys are all competing hard as hell to get into the rotation. Metu has been one of the best guys off the bench this pre season, and couldnβt get in the game til late in the second half. KBD was one of the favorites to be the second starter, and also barely got on the floor. Both guys came in and immediately started contributing in a big way.
Eubanks finally showed us what Trailblazers fans have been saying all along, fans are going to be begging Vogel to play him more than Nurk on some nights.
Guess Bill Simmons was wrong, not just as simple as the lakers deciding to bully the suns. Remains to be seen if Beal is an upgrade over Landry Shamet though.

Lee - Watanabe - KBD - Metu - Eubanks.
A two-way bull in a china shop, three power forwards, and a 6'11 center with t-rex arms.
This lineup was shockingly effective.
I'd say Vogel may have struck gold with this weird mishmash of non-starters, but they just played Max Christie, Christian Wood, Cam Reddish, and Rui Hachimura, surely nobody who would get rotational minutes on the Lakers at this point.

Are the lakers in trouble this season?
As we all know the Suns true weakness is their pitiful depth outside of Durant Booker and Beal. We all know Nurkic is a washed sorry excuse of a center and Josh Okogie is not starter level.
All that being said for the lakers to get absolutely walloped by all the trash components of this fraud suns team while playing all of their starters well into the third, itβs got to be pretty concerning even in a preseason game?
