Bundesliga is already won by Bayern in August.

[–] toroMaximo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Talking from your very high Serie A horse where Juve won 9 in a row and probably still would win if they weren't terribly mismanaged in the last few years

[–] Aplesi567@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Don’t really get this comment. Serie a has improved a lot in the last few years with both Milan teams becoming good. The likes of Dortmund and Leipzig on the other hand have stagnated

[–] bioeffect2@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Surprised La Liga is so high with all those terrorist teams

[–] R_Schuhart@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

That is some damning evidence to prove you don't actually watch all that much LaLiga. Teams only play that way against the traditional top three, mostly because they have no choice. The difference in budget is vast, they can't compete in any other way. Hoping to shithouse a draw is their only chance. Most of them try to play more open football against their direct competitors where they actually need to try and get three points.

[–] captainmystic02@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I don’t think most Barca and Real Madrid flairs actually watch La liga

[–] AlexBucks93@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Or, a wild idea, he is watching Barca's games where the terrorist football is played against?

[–] lehorselessman@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Time to play 1.5 over 10x I guess.

[–] domi1108@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

For anybody asking.

The 2nd division in Germany (2.Bundesliga) has an avg. of 3,12 goals per game. 81 games with 253 Goals and would rank at the 4th pos.

[–] TheStasiAreWatching@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Was there any need to call OP a piece of shit?

[–] mr-dogshit@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Also, the EFL Championship has an average of 2.83 goals per game.

[–] bexlamroidyz@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Goals per game? Not my strong suit. But hey, at least we can all agree that soccer is more exciting than watching paint dry.

[–] micoud04@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (4 children)

Congrats Werder for contributing heavily with 17 goals conceded 🫡

[–] KyloRen___@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

It's not much, but it's honest work.

[–] Corny_Dishwasher@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Oh it is much. Too much even

[–] granitibaniti@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Conceding 8 from Darmstadt and Heidenheim should be a sackable offence

[–] Jokeritovski@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

You chose a great time to share this stat before a match with Dortmund..Bold move,sir..respect

Guirassy carrying the league...

[–] TheStasiAreWatching@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Bundesliga lead it every year terrible defence hence why Chelsea buy a st every year for them to flop

[–] Danzard@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

What Strikers have we bought from bundesliga that flopped? Nkunku hasn't played for us and Werner is arguable.

[–] TheStasiAreWatching@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Werner is not arguable 6 and 4 I think in two seasons in prem he was always offside.

Look for the league with the most transitions of play it’s the bundesliga this I believe why he was so.

[–] Most-Inflation-1022@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Just like in 1945, Germany cant into defending.

[–] ackermax@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Rename it to Fundesliga you cowards

[–] Guntter45@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

WTF is this? 3,04?

This isn’t the Tugão I know and love. Where is the real Tugão with an average of 1,5 goals per game? What did you do him? #freetugão

[–] nepia@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This year it has had the some crazy entertaining games. I don't know what happened but me like it.

[–] NinjaThumb@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Every week I check the Bundesliga results and I wonder if they're playing hockey.

[–] biggieBpimpin@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

You should watch some games. Wildly entertaining stuff

Inb4 people get riled up over the choice of leagues

[–] Amargaladaster@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (4 children)

Serie A is so up and down in this last few years. Two seasons with 3 goals per game average, then 2,87, then a drop to 2,50 last year, now this.

[–] Natrix31@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Juric single handedly dragging it down.

Actually it's just been a few teams can't fathom what the back of the net is, Empoli have one goal all season lol.

[–] bbaakk@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

that peak must have been due to Atalanta

[–] Azzurri21@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Allegri is also back in the league consistent downward trend since he rejoined lol

[–] Clean_Emotion5797@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Honestly, 2.62 is still good enough to provide entertaining football, it's close to the last three WCs.

[–] Black_XistenZ@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yeah, wasn't the common take just two years ago that Serie A and La Liga had basically switched styles, with Serie A having become an offensive-minded, high-scoring league while La Liga had become very defensive? Seems like both leagues have reverted back to their old defaults. (The Bundesliga was always a high-scoring league, it's just extra spicy this season.)

[–] FireStrikerX@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Now i get it why no one gives a f about defenders and cdm in efootball, except kimmich and goretzka

[–] mesenanch@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You're not allowed to defend anymore....

[–] blussy1996@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The last time there were 3.0 goals per game in the Premier was 1968.

[–] Chriscftb97@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Makes what Lautaro is doing even more impressive

[–] Natrix31@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

it's not that the leagues really defensive, the bottom of the table is just really lacking quality. There are 6 teams averaging less than a goal a game, and Empoli only have 1 all year, not for a lack of trying.

[–] vip123z@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yet they can’t find a good attack for their national team…

[–] kill-goshi@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago
[–] NoLimit261@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Wasnt Serie A top of this couple years ago

[–] More_You_681@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Does this mean that the best defense is still at Serie A?

[–] Flyonthewall14@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The defense lines in the Bundesliga can also be quite awful tbf.

[–] TheRedditK9@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

And Guirassy probably scored half of them at this rate

[–] goodolehal@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Reminder that Cristiano scored more goals in 3 seasons than any player in the history of Serie A as a washed up player joining a new team

[–] srjnp@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

we dont call it a farmers league for nothing. the defense is disgustingly bad in bundesliga.

[–] Begbie13@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Serie A is back. After years of matches looking like Fifa we back
