I smell the same vibe with Moshiri, Kenwright, and whoever power that'd be.

Soon any decision made will require 3/4 stamps to move forward. Grreat.

So, who will be the Caesar, the Pompey and the Crassus in this triumvirate?

[–] GrumpyOldFart74@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

You missed out the Brutus…

[–] CradleCity@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Brutus is afterwards. And considering Brutus' fate, well...

This is just begging for a u/TigerBasket comment

The Glazers are both Crassus, but Jim Radclife is Sulla.

[–] TigerBasket@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

They don't deserve to be compared to those men. Well except Crassus

Would there be an equivalent to Titus Pullo and Lucius Vorenus in this analogy

[–] CradleCity@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Ahah good reference.

Maybe McTominay for Lucius Vorenus?

Feels like media like Sky have been very butt hurt since they didn't get there favoured people in.

This article is very biased particularly on the Nice side. While results haven't been the best at Nice, actually Nice have had lots of investment and has slowly rebuilt and now they have a hugely better foundation and are reaping the awards of that.

These three will sign off and overlook whats happening at United but in the end everything will be dependent on who the DOF is an how much they listen to him.

I am still optimistic, but Sky have always been against SJR.

Prepare for "marginal gains" to enter mainstream football conversation.

Since when do the Glazers five a duck?

Why ask for sporting control if you're just going to end up sharing 33% of it with half of the majority shareholders?

This whole thing just seems like a even bigger bureaucratic mess than their ownership already is.

Dave Brailsford to man United has the same vibes as when Southampton brought Clive Woodward in

[–] quikfrozt@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Isn’t Brailsford’s cycling projects falling apart now?

[–] Still-Corgi-4999@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago
