Yeah it really is a depressing reality here. I think every day about jumping ship and finding somewhere else in the world to live. Unfortunately the whole planet is really in a bad place.
I was looking at moving to Thailand to become an English Teacher a few years ago. Then I found a much better job and met my wife, so I'm still here.
I already moved internationally to be here, which is something my family does.
