My current ranking for Submariner-style watches are Rolex at the top, Tudor in 2nd, and then Glycine in 3rd.

Glycine gets a spot on the podium since they have a Swiss heritage going back to 1914 and despite the Invicta acquisition in 2016, by all accounts it seems that their quality hasn’t degraded.

Are there any other Swiss brands with heritage that are better choices for that 3rd place spot?

Ollech and wajs. Them being the first one to make a 100ATM watch in 1964 is amazing !

Now they make a 90% Swiss made watch that is ruuuuugged

Most of whole line is very good looking. Talk about under the radar.

Stick Certina's DS Action Diver in at number one and then the Tudor becomes number three and that's your problem solved. 😉

Steinhart makes a wealth of Rolex homages that are good watches in and of themselves.
