Who?
10/$200M if they still did contracts that long, sure
Who?
Thats too much for someone dubbed as the “Bulls’ X-factor” for the past few seasons but hasnt showed up yet.
That's actually insanely delusional lol. I would just let him go unless he like doubles his production and completely transforms
The Pat Williams hype is so sad. People need to let go. The bulls should not entertain this stupid contract
nice of him to only want 2 million
who the fuck is patrick williams lol
Who?
as someone who’s relatively low on pat, these responses have been cathartic
2 years 8 mill, team option year 2. I’m still not sure if I’ve noticed him in any game the Celtics have played against the Bulls.
Without looking into this news headline or reading any comments just yet, I have no Patrick Williams even is.
I’m assuming he’s on an Eastern Conference team, as I know most players on the Western Conference teams. Should I know about this guy?
I literally had to google this guy because I didn’t know who he was. 10/4 as a 7 footer. Dudes hoping he can get someone to bite like Ayton did.
Orlando needs to all in. Suggs, Pwill, Franz, Paolo, Wendell is a deep strong lineup. Pwill is a 40+ percent from 3 and field guy, with 80+ from free throw. I can see a 50/40/90 at some point.
Who?
This a different Patrick Williams?
Lowe’s an insider now? When did he start flinging shit at a wall?
give him 200/10 then.. a player option in his 10th year
not a mathemetologist but theres a lot of possibilities if we're just going on starts with 2 and isn't 20.
Wait. Pat Williams? The one on the Bulls?
Pure greed lol
So he’s asking for 2.2 mil minimum deal.
200mill? Yo shit i get contracts are inflated but 200mill for him is way too high
Imagine Patrick Williams making more per year than Patrick Mahomes.
Who the fuck is Patrick Williams
So $21m
A “Power Forward “ who snags 1 offensive rebound per game and shoots a little over 1 free throw per game wants how much? I would literally laugh if I were the GM .
The only way this happens is if the Bulls add an extra 0 by accident or Williams changes his name to Giannis Antetokounmpo.
For anyone who wants a non hyperbole breakdown of how Pat has been, here's my observations. First, he is a strong 4 who can guard forwards and big wings, but you don't really want him constantly chasing smaller guys around screens. He has been a good defender and has the tools to keep improving.
He is a good 3pt shooter on low volume. He can be hesitant in his shot/drive decision making, but its something he has improved on (still can be an issue). He has no handle, which is the primary reason why he can't get his own shot. He struggles to make that one dribble move to get around help defense when he has an open drive to the hoop. His touch around the rim could use a little work, but the tools are there. He's got a decent midrange shot, mostly off the dribble, that has lot of potential depending on if he can improve his handle.
Overall, he's shown enough to where I see his floor as a decent 3 and D forward. If he can keep his % high while getting up a few more attempts per game, he will at least be a good corner 3 threat. His handle is what holds him back from being a more dynamic offensive threat, and I haven't seen much to make me expect that it will get better. I do think he can at least improve his handle on drives to the basket. Last year, he improved his physicality inside by using his strength to get boards and also play a little bully ball against mismatches. He had a lot of good looks that he couldn't quite finish, but it looked promising, and I expect him to convert more of those looks.
My expected range of outcomes is:
floor: Rotation 3 and D forward that gives you good defense, corner 3s when open, some rebounding and help rim protection.
Ceiling: Solid starting forward, good defense off ball, 3 and D with an average volume of attempts on a good %, can successfully drive on closeouts, and converts inside on rebounds and mismatches.
Maybe I am just a casual fan (I didn't think I was), but who is this? I literally have not heard of this dude, how can he possibly think of getting $200M and not being an easily recognizable household name?
Who is Patrick Williams?
I watch a fair amount of NBA games. I honestly don't know who Patrick Williams is.
4 years for 100, rejects it, and then gets a max from the Hornets.
