Noch nie so viele falsche Passentscheidungen gesehen.

Reyna was very very very good. Nmecha was very very very good. Can was very very good. Brandt was very very good. The result doesn't show it but we dominated this game to an insane degree.

Love this ranking because it makes all the sense

Nmecha is incredible, man. The only thing I don’t like about this BVB team is that they are prone to conceding 2-3 high xG chances. Other than that, we seem to be on a good path. Need to beat Newcastle asap.

For a big guy he has amazing Ball Control, reminds me of a very young emre can

One of the best games by brandt in a dortmund shirt

[–] garybarlow0@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He’s like a Brandt new signing

[–] TheSingleMan27@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Dortmund was very wasteful with their chances, they should have got like 2 more alone in the last 15 minutes

Bremen didn't look good at all and especially at the end they looked completely gassed so they couldn't even manage some chances to equalize at the end

was it just me or did the game feel kinda "casual" at times in the game?

All I’m saying is Darmstadt put 4 past Bremen, obviously Darmstadt > Dortmund

[–] ProfDumm@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

From my understand of nutrition science it should be first Dortmund and then Darmstadt.

From my understanding of the niche subject of math, the symmetric property states that if a = b, then b = a.

Jeder Werder Spieltag:

  • Aufstehen, scheiße wieder Spieltag...
  • Zum Spiel fahren
  • Gegentor vom Ex-Spieler kassieren
  • Scheiße spielen
  • Auffe Fresse bekommen
  • Nach Hause fahren (you are here)
  • Pressekonferenz mit BaumFritz "wir sind von Ole absolut überzeugt"

Repeat

Brandt hat nie fuer Werder gespielt.

I’m glad Dortmund won. These are the scrappy wins they need if they want to a good shot at the title, because it was precisely these sort of “easier” games that they would choke last season

[–] Nordie27@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Not really, they overperformed their actual performances and won a bunch of tight matches last season. Their problem is that once the pressure is really on they shit their pants. They have started well but none of it will matter if they choke in the run in

[–] Alive-Ad-4164@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Brandt is him

What changed for Dortmund this season?

[–] Vanzmelo@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Nothing. We usually start strong, slump in the middle of the season, and then have a strong finish in the top 4

[–] Qiluk@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Under Terzic its honestly mainly been sicknesses and injuries that has caused slumps. With fitness he has a superb ppg and we fight better than ages. Even if the wins and games can be really ugly at times

[–] Trojan_Man68@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Do you mean what changed from last season or what changed from earlier this season?

From last season nothing at all changed we got good results then too.

If you're talking about the reactions to our games earlier this season, all that happened to get us back in form was just giving the coach and players more time to gel, get fit, and get in form. The panic earlier on seemed to be a major and premature overreaction.

[–] blacktiger226@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

all that happened to get us back in form was ~~just giving the coach and players more time to gel, get fit, and get in form~~

Starting Reus and Fullkrug

[–] Trojan_Man68@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I think that falls into the coaching aspect and figuring out in time who is currently the best option. Btw, shoutout Terzic his resume with Dortmund is already strong and it will only get stronger as he grows.

[–] Black_XistenZ@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

To be fair, it's well possible that the 4 points you guys dropped against relegation candidates Bochum and Heidenheim are gonna cost you at the end of the season.

It reminds me heavily of how you lost 2:3 against Bremen, at home, after leading 2:0 until the 90th minute last season. Back then, everyone was saying "what a fuckup, inb4 this costs you the title". And in the end, that's exactly what happened.

[–] Vio0@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

So applying your logic, the ref in the Bochum game lost Dortmund the title.

[–] Black_XistenZ@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

With a title race which was decided by GD, any single point could have swung it. The ref decision in the Bochum game was a travesty, but it's to be expected to be on the receiving end of such a decision over the course of a whole season. I'm focusing on the points dropped which were your own fault, where you had your fate in your own hands and just dropped the ball.

[–] Sertorius777@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Points are gonna be dropped at some point regardless. It's not the Bremen or even the Stuttgart game that cost us the title last year, it was only the Mainz game.

I say that because anything else is alternate history, maybe we win against Bremen and end up closer to the top in January, but then we go on an incosistent run instead of the great run of results in the ruckrunde. Or maybe we win against Stuttgart, but then fuck up against Wolfsburg or Augsburg due to pressure/overconfidence.

[–] Vio0@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Good game. Should have scored 1-3 of those wasted chances. Bittencourt should have been sent off. Nmecha should have gotten the penalty.
