Just looks like a jump pass with a little extra razzamatazz at the end.

Trae Young fuck him

[–] ThroughTheWildNight@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That was sick

The anticipation from Trae that their will be an opening is wildly apparent in that first angle The defender at the back just barely starts encroaching towards the perimeter before the pass is fired to the paint. Wild and such a fun passer to watch.

Im sorry but he didnt really fool anyone, thats just for style points.

I don't think the spin after the pass actually confused the defense at all, but it's good for style points.

The spin motion sold that he was going to kick it out to the wing instead of to Capella. Prob not a huge factor but in realtime it looks like he’s spinning back around to pass out to the perimeter

Gonna be really interesting to see what Snyder can do with the Hawks this season.

Hit marker sound effect

[–] FarSightXR-20@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

That was a pass and then a 360 spin. There's a difference.

[–] referee-superfan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He just invented the no scope 360

[–] PoIIux@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It also confused absolutely no one

Shoutouts to J.E. Skeets for pioneering the 360 jump fart.

Walked so Trae could run.

Sad no one but the camera saw it.

‘I mean that’s fun right…’

Trae+Capela consistently has ranked as one of the most efficient duos over the years. Elite PnR passer with a deep bag of passes and great timing setting up a big in Capela who has strong hands and a large catch radius while being a lob threat and guy that dunks everything he can around the rim. The chemistry they've developed with years of having these drills in practice helps, of course. Should again be an elite PnR pair.

r/nba PROMISED me that Trae is not even top 100 at his own position

[–] Petit_Coeur_@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Bro thinks he’s Tyrese Haliburton

[–] FreeHoopStreams@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I've only seen one of them make plays like this in the postseason, and it ain't Halliburton

[–] CynicalMindTrip@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No no, Trae executes a pass and then a make a useless 360.

[–] lialialia20@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

trae does a no look pass and celebrates by doing a 360 would be more fitting

[–] intelligentx5@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

What’s the point of that tho?

[–] shazam482@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Why did he do the 360? Was the pass thrown so hard it changed his momentum?

[–] Inevitable-Tourist18@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Wtf is this title

[–] MegatonDeathclaws@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Not really a 360 pass lol he passed it and then just spun around for some reason.

[–] sgandylau@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

lmfao. the most unnecessary 360 no scope ever. Just like the guy who did the 360 spin at sunday league football

[–] DonChile27@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

some of his no looks are unnecessary lol.

[–] ObeseKenyan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No scope implies he doesn't look before making the pass... When these mfers are looking the entire 5 seconds before the pass and look away once the ball is released - that's not a no look.
