One interesting observation from these preseason games. Wemby seems to primarily be a perimeter defender. For a guy over 7’ tall oddly he doesn’t go for too many rebounds and defends more towards the perimeter.

The variety of abilities he has, whilst being that coordinated and mobile at 7’4 is quite surreal.

He cooled off in the second quarter, but that first quarter was borderline immaculate. Legit the best player on the floor.

I know I said before that I was looking forward to hating the Spurs again when we meet in the playoffs but this has become like "be careful what you wish for" type of shit. Every highlight I've seen so far of Wemby has been disgusting.

I've really only watched his highlights so far. But iirc his French 3pt% wasn't that great, and he seems to have below average fg%. Given that he's probably unguardable, I'm guessing he just misses a lot of open shots?

Idk what is going on with people making these threads getting his blocks wrong everytime. Last game (or the one before that) he had 3 blocks but it said 4. This game he actually had 5 but it says 4. Small thing but it's just so annoying lol.
