Yeah, it seems a little epicurean to devote an entire instance to stoicism.

Indifferent, but I believe it would be a virtuous endeavor.

I would not seek for one to exist by virtue of me wanting it to exist, but would rather have it exist if it does and not if it doesn’t.

Is the idea to discuss stoicism? Apply it to different concepts like news, politics, gaming, sports, art, etc? If it's the former, a comm should be fine, if the latter an instance may make sense but I don't know if there would be an audience for it.
