For a team in 20th place Sheffield is playing really good

[–] PiratesStan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Højlund is going to be a baller when United get some proper wingers around him

[–] ExtemeFilms@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

So uh, never

[–] innit122@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I feel like Spurs this season could've been a good fit for hojlund

Amrabat tackling Dalot, has to be peak football

[–] Turtyturd@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Onana better with his face than his hands

[–] Gotanyfunkopops@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Being a mid table team isn’t all doom and gloom. It grows on you, and you learn to appreciate the small victories against bigger teams.

[–] JinxLB@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I’ve just been staring at my screen for the last 35 minutes without a single thought or emotion.

[–] dave1992@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This game is basically the duality of McTominay.

[–] snowkarl@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Rashford is in sulk mode today, he is such a funny dude.

[–] Esco9@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It’s been so painful having to listen to Phil Neville today

[–] villetys@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Please explain to me like I’m five; why did United pay 100 million for Antony?

[–] ACMomani@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He's just a flashy player who does absolutely nothing

How much is this down to injuries for Manchester United?

[–] Justinian2@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Red

Edit nvm first angle looked a lot worse

[–] crookedparadigm@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Any manager should be furious at their players picking up yellows like that

[–] Averdian@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Maguire's long balls have actually been really good so far? One of the only positives for United

[–] lrzbca@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Anthony never completes a cross, does he ?

[–] lluckboxFIFA@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Amrabat like a bald dad out there

[–] New_Archer_7539@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Heartbreaking, Hojlund has that killer instinct in front of goal.

[–] Moist_Dark_7976@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

What does Ten Hag even offer in a manager?

His team plays turgid every game.

[–] Seasider7@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This may go beyond any manager’s capability’s

[–] Fit_Resort_4111@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Utd are absolutely toilet

[–] Turtyturd@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I can only imagine how frustrating it is watching Rashford on weekly basis if you’re a man u fan.

[–] Hatakashi@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Rashford has taken it upon himself to cross a lot today, which is great.

What's less great is almost every cross hitting the first man.

[–] CircleTheFire@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He must have been watching old Stewart Downing footage!

[–] wallnumber8675309@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Only watched this match and the Che/Ars match today.

That’s the first good bit of keeping I’ve seen.

[–] Professional_Sink_30@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I mean James McAtee isn't that good but Antony dear me.

[–] NameTakken@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

We didn’t have a sustained spell of possession until stoppage time, embarrassing

[–] Limp-Toe-179@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

United about to pay a billion quid for Foderingham in January

[–] White_Wokah@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Antony is just wasteful whenever he gets the ball

[–] OptimisticRealist__@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Simple Jack, you gotta score that mate

[–] Comfortable-Asf@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Højlund’s tenacity 😤

[–] ArmiinTamzarian@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Neutrals: what an absolute shit game

Me: This is the best I have seen us play all season. We are massive

Surprised Sheffield arent 3-1 up or something. Like, considering Onana is not good with his hands that he saved a ball with his face, you would think that Sheffield would have scored more since almost any shot at United is a guaranteed goal if a defender doesnt clear it or interfere.

[–] curlyjoe696@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

That's a very poor half of football.

I'm amazed by our total lack of structure. People popping up all over the place and not in 'Total Football' way more in a 'having a kick about down the park' kinda way.

Ten Hag has to get this together because whatever he is doing (even considering the many mitigating factors) just isn't good enough.

[–] AjenoMerveilles@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Your players are both everywhere, yet nowhere for a team mate to find without stopping, looking, then passing.

Sheffield Utd players really just have to stand still to stop the threat.

[–] ExtemeFilms@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Hit the nail on the head with the movements, whole game feels like its the first pick up game of the day and everyone is warming up

[–] MinotauroTBC@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Just sack them all at half time, I can’t watch this shit anymore

[–] CaptainGo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Broadcasters wondering if they can just flip over to the rugby

[–] Imsosaaad@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Rhian Brewster the CL winner coming on to finish off Yanited

[–] starmiesan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Why isn’t Rashford shooting there???

[–] Hatakashi@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Marcus... just fucking go for it.

[–] OptimisticRealist__@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Howard webb is the real bald fraud

[–] RubberToe1996@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That sums up our season

[–] Limp-Toe-179@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Oof that was a proper championship tackle

[–] AjenoMerveilles@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

A nervous first half from two teams daring not to lose.

Utd are playing the better football (as they should), but Utd have more fight in them, and are more willing to, as Roy Keane would call it, smell the danger.

Not going to predict a winner. It'll either be Utd or Utd. Or a draw.

[–] villetys@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This is such a massive cope that I can't even...

[–] magic-water@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

United have like 5 players whose best position is the number 10 (Bruno, Mount, Eriksen, McTominay, vdB) but no player who is the best at 8.
