If I understood it correctly, they were waiting for the new Bookworm Debian release to be released before updating some of the packages. So if you can wait a bit (a few weeks maybe?) a newer version of Lemmy will be probably added to Yunohost.

Yeah I guess. Honestly I am not so deep into Yunohost to be able to give you the exact picture why they only have an older version of Lemmy.
I tried but gave up on Lemmy on Yuno since Yuno has a specific way of handling apps
And if you where to update, troubles begin..
