No team that Demarcus Cousins plays for will win a championship.

Dude is a losing player.

Lakers gave him a ring out of sympathy- zero games played.

Luka Doncic

Dante Exum being a bust and/or not developing the way people thought he would.

Every Suns fan saying Mikal was the real deal. Up until the trade, most people here put OG above Mikal.

Same things going to happen with Ayton. I dont think he hates basketball, but I bet he'd rather have his summers off than go for a title every year. Dudes gonna coast and enjoy his money

Zion - as soon as he blew out that shoe...knew he wasn't in the right NBA shape and health would be a concern

Kawhi Leonard. Few NBA fans truly understood his ceiling (best two way player in the league) in the first few years of his career. A loud minority of spurs fans would speak the truth but few listened until he performed on the big stages. Even after his FMVP, some discounted it since he played within the Spurs system.

Anfernee Simons. saw him play when Dame went down and cuz just straight called out. he a certified hooper.

Tatum. I just happened to watch his first game. I'm forgetting if it was his first real game or first preseason, and I was like, this dude is the real deal.

Frank Ntilinkina. I thought he sucked from day 1, but plenty of people obsessed over his “potential” since he was an adequate defender.

Desmond Bane, I didn’t care that he was old with short arms

SGA, I think Amen Thompson will be next him.

Being from Europe I was pushing Doncic hard when he was drafted. A lot of my American friends laughed and said he was either trash or wouldn’t be good enough…

Ben Simmons, I always said he was just coasting on natural talent and didn't want to work hard. As soon as shit got tough he folded.

i’ve called ben simmons a bum since his lsu days and i was called crazy for it

Cam Reddish. All style zero substance. 6'8 athlete who shoots 35% FG with very low rebounding and passing numbers.

Nothing about him looked well. Guy was drafted based on potential that he didn't display.

Guy had several games with like 6 turnovers on 0-1 assist.

Season hasn't started yet but I always think Ausar will be the better player over Amen

Jalen Brunson. Seeing his highlights and record from college impressed the amateur that I am in basketball knowledge but I could see his performance on the court his rookie season. Such a shame he’s not on the Mavs anymore.

James Harden. Ever since I figured out he was a cheat code in 2K on the thunder he became my favorite player. Watching him blow up was super cool.

I thought Rafael Araujo was a slightly above average collegiate center. I figured he might get drafted middle of the second round and the Raptors took him in the lottery.

Embiid. Kansas fan, watched him in college and was blown away. The game-to-game improvement was wild. Total prodigy stuff. Still kills me that we only got like half a season of him fully healthy.
