I think he’s on his way, but until he gets minutes and impacting outcomes in actual games, how can he be placed in the top tier?
Because there’s enough evidence to put him there without seeing him play a regular season game
top 100 means the 4th best player on 10 teams in the NBA (on average) this isnt a hot take at all.

All I know is I watched that dude block Klay, Steph and Wiggins all in the same game. And they looked quite confused.
He didn't block Steph though?

I feel old the first time around he'll catch dudes off guard because when is the last time you've seen someone like him? For one night you have to adjust to his presence on the court, especially on defense
Mobley did this to a certain extent his rookie year. We had a west coast trip where the clippers and blazers in b2b games kept switching guards onto him thinking it was a mismatch and then just being baffled as he fucking swallowed everything they threw at him

Blocked Wiggins but Wiggins also shot over him and finished thru him in the paint. Blocked klay, much of that has to do with klays shot selection. Saw Cedi osman hit stepbacks over him in the spurs scrimmage. And curry is 6’2 him getting blocked in the paint isn’t a rare occupancy, Peyton Watson blocked him multiple times in one game last year and he wasn’t even in the rotation for the nuggets.
What’s the record for 3 point blocks in a game?
Next thing you know they’ll have Laughing Inflatable Flailing Tubeman as defense props in training.

He plays with a lot of confidence already and it’s clear that he’s still very raw. Same vibes as LeBron his first few games. His ceiling is definitely the best player of his generation, at least if he manages to stay healthy, which is a big if with mobile giants.

If he is like a few feet from the basket with a dude in front of him, could he just jump up and throw the ball downward into the hoop? Because if the ball is moving down wouldnt the defender not be able to block it?

Drafted him in the third round (mid pick). Was told i was reaching. Was I though?
Minutes restrictions was the only thing I was worried about. But he did average 19 points in 20 minutes averaged he played during the preseason sooooo I don’t think it’s a terrible gamble.

Honestly if he stays healthy and has a good work ethic top 20 all time is the floor.
Injuries will be his only downfall— hopefully the young man stays healthy.
