A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

So I have recently inquired at my job if I could do promotional photo shoots for the restaurant, and I’m having a hard time what price I should set stuff as. This is my first marketing attempt and I’ve only done photography as a side hobby for the last 2 years, give or take. Any ideas on how I should price them?

When charging for businesses, you don’t bill by the hour but by the business value of the photos and your services.

That really depends on how good you are and how many photos you'll have to shoot/for how long.

If it's a large business I'd go for at least $200 an hour if not then something that they could afford Maybe around $50-100/hour.
