A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

My organization has been using Smugmug for 10+ years and we have hundreds of thousands of photos in hundreds of folders. It's been a fine thing for us, but we need something with facial recognition. Is there any sort of program anyone knows that will export or transfer each folder and upload it to a new service with facial recognition?

Google photos does facial recognition But re-exporting from google photos is hell.

1 if you ever export the entirety of your google photos it wont be sorted by facial recognition at all

2 google photos strips everything of its meta data and stores it in seperate files. So of you ever export it all and wamt to check settings or date or anything you cant.

Wouldnt recommend google photos

I appreciate this. Would you recommend somewhere else? If smugmug had the recognition, it would be fine.
