He's already making $2.6 million as a college kiddo so it certainly seems within his earnings skill set.
Owning an NFL team takes billions. Williams does not have that and will not have the required cash, even assuming he has a lucrative and long NFL career with great investments.
Between his demeanor on and off the field during the game, as well as stupid shit being said by his dad, not to mention his poor performances against top teams, im really hoping someone else can get the first overall pick so the Bears dont take him. He just seems like an arrogant ass. Could be like Chase Claypool but at the QB spot.

As someone else mentioned the last time something about this was posted, even if he COULD in theory be given an ownership stake by the team that drafts him, wtf happens when and if he gets traded or cut and signs with another team? Seems like a huge conflict of interest.
And I admittedly don’t watch college ball much at all, but it seems to me that 95% of these “generational” players tend to be “a player from this generation” at best.

HIs dad, one time, kinda alluded to ONE DAY owning SOME EQUITY in a team. Yaknow, like Tom Brady does literally right now. And yet it has been twisted into "Caleb Silver-Spoon Williams Demands to be Owner of Team That Drafts Him"

Overlooking any reason given here as to why this won't happen, the simple answer is the only one that matters -- it sets a terrible and costly precedent. If this ever did happen, every #1 pick would expect the same treatment. It's like guaranteed contracts on steroids since they'd get paid for life, and there's no real cap on the payout.. especially considering teams keep going up in value.
I get horrible vibes from this guy. It almost feels like a forgone conclusion that he’s going to dominate the league, but how about we see it before anyone crowns his ass
