It's up to the team to stop running that play if they can't do it properly, or use a TE or RB to do it instead.

They didn't ban qb sneaks when Mahomes kneecap was on backwards.
The Chiefs did lol
Counterpoint: no it doesn't
I think they should ban NFL since it results in too many injuries and we should have flag football in its place.
Flag football carries the risk of non-contact injuries like ACL or Achilles tendon tears. We should stick with playing Madden.
Ok. This isn't my idea or anything. It's an observation.
Just pointing out that given the NFL's trend in recent years to improve player safety in general...I can easily see them banning a play where 10 or so players line up a foot apart and hit each other headfirst to create space for 1 yrd.
It takes a major QB injury for the NFL to make these kinds of "Safety" changes. Don't shoot the messenger...and don't be surprised if this becomes a legit discussion in the next CBA.
The QB sneak is probably the only play left where the two opposing lines literally bang heads
Yeah you’ve never played football, or even watched linemen during the games. They’re banging heads almost every run play.
No it doesn't lol
Please just go away
The NFL is obsessed with protecting star QBs. Neither Jones or Purdy have enough celebrity for anything to be banned on their account. Now if Mahomes or Allen get hurt on a QB sneak…it’s a good as gone.
Hell, they may not even wait until the end of the season to ban it.
Daniel Jones wasn't injured during a QB sneak.
Decided to check OPs post history, of course its niners fan. Should we just band offense and defensive lines? Good news for you they got flat football in the Olympics
when has the NFL said they’re gonna ban the play or that they want to? not the media. not your favorite talking head pundit. an actual NFL release? they didn’t even bring it for a vote this offseason?
