To our Canadian friends, I'm really sorry about all this nonsense. I love Canada just the way it is. Can't wait for my next trip up to Toronto or Montreal. Always a good time. I'm a little worried that I might not get a warm welcome on the next trip though.

10 Provinces + 3 Territories = 1 single state's worth of representation.

GFY DT.

If it did happen, private insurance would decimate Canadian universal Healthcare almost instantly. That alone would lead to significant political unrest. American healthcare is by far the most dystopian among high income nations.

"Representation" under a fascist government with a would-be dictator who has promised to abolish voting. And they've been openly discussing making Canada a territory without representatives anyway.

The problem is, Canada has been secure so far because the USA has been an ally, and Russia knew that an attack on Canada from the north would be resisted by the USA. Not to mention the impracticality of the attack when the Arctic is frozen. But now the Arctic is becoming viable for ships and Canada finds itself sandwiched between two hostile nations, Russia and the USA, with the USA more likely to.collaborate with Russia in destroying Canada than to defend it. And Canada's military is very small compared to either of those countries.

Well, Ontario has been talking about building some more nuclear reactors. I guess it's time to change up the "reactor" part.

If we had a working government, the 25th would have been invoked a few times ago. It's one thing to go along with Grandpa as he rattles of craziness, but when Grandpa has power to make those things happen, and when the ones around him are somehow seeing the demands as rational...what a screwed up family.

Embargo time, baby. Let’s clear that trade deficit right up for ya, bud. Time to outlast.

The Overton Window has shifted so far in just a couple of months, I'm pretty sure the glass shattered

I wonder how many people know you can download for free or purchase the files for 3D printed guns. The additional parts can be bought, legally, in discreet kits from easy to find online sellers - but many of those parts can be bought or modified from commercially available hardware. I wonder if people know that.

The solution is easy. Canada is already bigger than the USA, so the US should join Canada.
