Maybe this is the watch that is your one watch collection, maybe it’s your new fling. Curious if other people love one watch so much that it keeps them from wearing/buying/having eyes for anything else.

For me, it’s my black dial Mido ocean star that I’ve worn daily for the last two years. It was reasonably priced, was a step up from my citizen promaster. Wear it on a tapered Milanese or a nato and it just works. I want some other watches, I’ve bought some others, but I don’t like them as much and so I just keep wearing this.

What’s the one watch you love at the envy of the rest of the collection?

My DW5600-E1V. I’ve been wearing it non stop and I just adore it. I’ve had it for a couple years too. Modded it with some Jays and Kays bull bars, looks sick.

As much as I try to wear everything in my watch box, this specific watch also always ends up on my wrist and on my bedside table.

My Oris Diver 65. It’s got the vintage appeal but comfortable and durable enough to wear as a GADA watch.

That’s a really nice looking watch. I can see why you like it

Same here, it's just got a certain charm to it.

Happens the same to me, tho I have the funky numerals version, but it's an incredible watch

The key to comfort is in the half links!

My Seiko 6309-7049.

My Omega Seamaster 300m mid-size quartz. Same model as Prince William's watch.

Casio A1000MA-7VT

Cartier Santos all steel. The easy switch between the bracelet and leather strap makes it hard to wear much else.

My GO PML - swap the straps out goes from classy to casual.

Speedy reduced..

Damn what a watch

[–] zwanman89@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Is the ranger bracelet basically the same but without the fake rivets?

[–] Major_Burnside@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

No rivers, TFIT clasp, and much more of a traditional taper instead of the harsh steps from each link like the 58 bracelet.

[–] zwanman89@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Oh that’s nice. I wonder if I could somehow get a TFIT on my BB Chrono bracelet.

Sinn 556A RS.
I do wear my other watches but I grab the Sinn every morning by default.

I basically wear the others when I don't want to wear the Sinn

Baltic Aquascaphe blue gilt with tropic straps. Nice case size with a vintage look

[–] JamesB41@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Big Pilot 5002. Absolute default watch for me.

[–] nixdavid1954@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Mine is my black-dialed Sinn 104

[–] M3Core@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

My Speedy Pro. Haven't worn anything else since the day I got it 15 months ago.

Two watches.

My Rolex Explorer made me sell off my entire collection to wear only that watch. Eventually, I realized I needed a date and timing bezel, and eventually got a Seiko Turtle which I absolutely love to death. Perfect two watch collection.

I love that watch. Looks a bit big and heavy. What are your thoughts? Seems like they can be found much cheaper than the moonwatch

My Grand Seiko SBGA413 Shunbun. I love changing the bracelet to strap and vice versa depending on my mood

My Tissot Gentleman. For me it's the perfect go anywhere, do anything watch.

As much as extremely mainstream as it is: Speedy

Omega Seamaster Heritage two tone (last gen). Haven’t felt like wearing much else since I got it. Seriously making me think about downsizing to a 3 watch collection

Promaster Diver BN0151, also because it’s the nicest one I own.

Anyway, how accurate is your Mido Ocean Star, OP? I’m considering the 200m version.

[–] ivanyufen@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Junghans Max Bill, still haven't found any watch design better than a Max Bill..

[–] 80H-d@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Definitely my hulk. I like it so much that I have even convinced myself there are some straps out there the super case looks good on

State of charge - medium. Can't be getting that much wrist time.... !

[–] MyPerfectSummer@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Some of my watches give me this feeling. I'm obligated however to put on anything else other than watch.
